Another great slick video. Not sure how I feel about the industry's use of allocating deliveries around the world of their limited production of EVs to comply with local regulations, they are just selling EVs to maintain ICE sales. Spell it out. Tell it like it is. Should we spurn the purchase of those EV?

Is this going to be the norm with electric cars now. Put an order in and wait 2 years. Get your vehicle sight unseen, probable off the back of a semi and hope for the best that you have gotten a decent car.

Interesting stat for Tesla fans (and haters). If you had spent $10,000 on TSLA shares in Feb 2016 and got yourself 67 shares, you could have sold them last week and had $60,000 to spend on a new Tesla!

I wish media, including independent media like this channel, would stop calling Uber, Lyft, etc. "ride sharing". They are ride sharing like a taxi is ride sharing. They are ride hailing companies and only relatively recently when they offered rides actually shared between individual customers was it sharing (unless you count riding with a driver to be sharing).

So, eventually I watched the video past the lovely hearts till the spud, chockfull of information as usual.
It looks like the Renault Twingo has room to host a second battery pack under the rear seats, maybe a later option or model for those who dare leave the city and visit family 110 km away in winter time.

Maybe you should include a countdown to Tesla Battery Day in your videos thumbnails or descriptions, I think it might be an event worth attending, and mean people who say you're not a Tesla fan will be forced to shut up, not realizing that not being a fan of anything or anyone can also be a compliment for objective independent EV reporting…

These rumors may have merit (?) – the primary component(s) of prismatic lithium battery cells is only sourced from China. LG Chem had a contract which was recently broken. Now THAT prismatic supply line is being given to Tesla for their "new" China Only Model 3 "econo car". LG is also the only company in the world, other than Panasonic, who has a small Cylindrical Lithium Battery Making machine". Tesla bought the company who MAKES the Manufacturing Equipment for Cylindrical Lithium Cells. At the time of that sale, Tesla announced, as the new owners, Tesla would have priority order fulfillment from its newest acquisition (and the former CEO quit). SO – 1. No Prismatic batteries for a while – 2. Limited Cylindrical batteries until someone else figures out how to make such machines. Any of this true? All of it false or misleading? I'm not a researcher or journalist, so being both – maybe you could figure it out. Thanks again for all you are doing for the Future of Our Planet.

Shame on Kia. This is why I'm considering a Mach E instead. I can buy it anywhere in the US by next year, and 2000 dealers will have it on stock, so I can try to play a game between 2 dealers to get them to sell me an EV at the lowest possible price. Can't do that with a Kona or Niro. Also, I use potatoes with onions and Masala to make spicy curries. Wonder if that will Spice up the batteries :).

Won't Sono have a problem calling their car the "Sion", since that name (or at least a homonym of that name, "Scion") has already been taken by Toyota's economy division?

In case anybody’s curious (an interesting cultural insight perhaps) the red lettering on the side of the air-taxi says, essentially, “Go Wuhan! Go China!”

Being a Chinese-language student (well, wife from China and most speaking Mandarin at home), I just had to look it up. The only one of those characters I didn’t immediately recognize was 武, the “Wu” of Wuhan. 🙂

I believe BMW is playing a smart and dangerous game , Holidings on the I3 , and in 2022 the battery software will be more advanced and they can offer what they are good at,the ultimate driving experience.
driving experience and battery range will be improve, let’s wait and see.
