Buffalo is a good place to manufacture, but the local homes are not the best candidates for solar roofs. Solar roof tiles are ideal for shallow sloped roofs of expensive homes in sunny areas.

I live pretty much walking distance from this. The skepticism & lack of due diligence from the locals is a joke thinking always thinking "bad" news from this especially cause it has to deal with Cuomo as well… If u really care about the area do the research & don't just look into the Cuomo side of things….. Look at Tesla as a whole!!

Obviously their production methods are going to make margins on the product extremely high. They don't want competition in the solar roof market.
There's nothing bizarre. I live in Perth, Western Australia, drive a Tesla Model X and Elon hasn't been to visit me. He's not omnipresent. You guys are lucky he chose your state to invest in. You should be more supportive and less FUD'ster like. Like the worker said, Tesla is the future.
